BRUSHLESS (BLDC) MOTORS are normally used when long-life applications are required.  Long life is possible due to its electronically commutated controller in place of the conventional carbon brushes and commutator of a brushed type motor.    Makermotor has several selections of bldc motors from a low speed 10rpm gear motor to a 2500rpm hollow shaft motor.
