This product includes a battery adapter to fit a 24v Kobalt Lithium Ion battery. The adapter was designed, 3D printed, and assembled in the USA.
Battery is NOT included. You may purchase it from your local Lowe's store.
This battery adapter fits the following batteries:
- Kobalt 24-Volt Max 2-Amp-Hours Power Tool Battery
- Kobalt 24-Volt Max 4-Amp-Hours Power Tool Battery
- Kobalt 24-Volt Max 6-Amp-Hours Power Tool Battery
About the motor:
- Rated Voltage: 27 VDC
- Rated Speed: 50 RPM
- Rated Current: 3A
- Rated Torque: 6 N-m (4.4 ft-lb)
- Mounting: M6 screw holes
- Shaft: 10mm shaft with 1 flat ("D" shaft)
About the reverse switch:
- This switch can be used for a 12v DC or a 24v DC brushed motor.
- The switch is a DPDT so it functions as a reverse polarity switch on the motor.
- By reversing polarity on a brushed 12/24v dc motor, the motor will reverse and forward accordingly.
- Center position of the switch is OFF.
Cautions:
- Do not use this adapter to charge your battery
- Do not short circuit battery or draw more than 20amps continuous
- Do not leave battery charged at 100% for long periods of time, recommended to store battery at 70% charge (prolongs battery life)
- Do not leave battery outdoors (especially in hot climates)
