From our customer: "That is a woodworking machine, a thickness planer, about 30 years old, made in France (originally a Swiss design), and I’m using the Makermotor to drive the rollers that feed the wood through the machine. The original design was 2 speed and used a flat belt to drive a worm gear that meshed with a nylon pinion gear which in turn drove the feed rollers via that same chain. The nylon gear is prone to wearing out or even melting under load, and is fairly expensive and hard to get, so this replaces that set up. At 50rpm it will feed the wood at about 16 feet per minute (the original “high” speed feed rate) and with the variable speed controller I can dial it down from there as needed. I’m really glad to have found Makermotor for this!"

Works Awesome!!
I used this motor to turn the chute on my 3 point snowblower!! No more getting out of the cab to manually turn the chute.
