This controller can work with an RC receiver.
-
DC Brush motor Driver, not for brushless motor
-
Input Voltage (Motor): 7 - 45VDC
-
Single power operation, just connect power to battery input.
-
Dual Channels, it can drives two brush motor independently, or mixed.
-
Regenerative Braking.
-
Operating modes: RC (RC servo signal), Analog, PWM, simplified and packetized UART.
-
Support Signed magnitude and Locked Anti-phase in PWM mode.
-
Top cover comes with two DC brushless fans to cool the driver.
-
Two manual/test buttons for each channel.
-
Two output indicator LEDs for each channel.
-
Power, Error indicator, RUN status (Left and Right) LEDs
-
On board reset button to restart the MCU after changing operation mode.
-
Temperature feedback for current limit and prevent overheating of MOSFET.
-
Support up to 60A continuous current at room temperature.
-
Support up to 100A peak for 1 second. Current will be limited as temperature raises.
-
Suitable for combat or sumo robot.
-
16KHz switching frequency for quiet operation.
-
On board switching voltage regulator for higher power efficiency.
-
Battery low voltage monitoring mode.
-
We have tried this driver with single power window motor at 24V, full load without smoke coming out :)
-
NO polarity protection, please double check the power input connection.
-
Do use proper cable/wire for the battery and load, thin/normal cable/wire will melt and burn.
-
Dimension: ~190mm x 121mm x 45mm.

runs fine forward some issue in reverse. looks like trying to stop and go forward at higher speeds in reverse. using HK GT2B for control on railroad speeder with 2 5/8 hp motors

Smart Drive Duo -60
I bought a 650# Chinese remote control mower and was mildly please with everything except the 600W 24V drive motors and controllers, which all burned up in short order when worked hard. We converted to two heavy-duty 650W 36V gearmotors and installed the MDDS60 as the controller. A great part so far. Motors remain cool, controls are much more sensitive at slow speeds, we now seem to have regenerative braking, and operating is much smoother and less jerky. Long term performance remains to be seen but device seems robust, was easily set up, and we are please that it was recommended as a solution to out situation. Well done MakerMotor!

MDDS60
Prior to purchase they put me in touch with Cytron to confirm suitability for my application, a 7.5" gauge model train Delivery was quick and follow-on support with Cytron was awesome and very helpful getting the controller set for my application Was able to take it out for a test run and was very pleased with the performance
