It features M6 screw holes for easy mounting and a 3/8" shaft with a 1 flat ("D" shaft) where flat to OD is 0.322" and the length of the shaft is 0.886" long. Not an engineer or inventor, I needed a mechanized way to hold a tiny screw eye in position while it torqued into a piece of wood multiple times. This motor was louder than I expected but that probably goes with the type of motor it is. It's solid, strong, feels like it will last forever and I was able to somewhat muffle the whine with a boxed enclosure.
