CAUTION! Using DC Power Supply only may DAMAGE this motor driver. Use Battery instead.
The MD25HV is a high-voltage, single-channel motor driver for brushed DC motors with a voltage range of 7V to 58V. It supports 25A of continuous current without the need for an additional heatsink, thanks to its discrete NMOS H-Bridge design. The built-in buck regulator provides 5V output to power the host controller and there are onboard test buttons and LED outputs for functional testing. The motor driver can be controlled via PWM and DIR inputs and is compatible with a wide range of host controllers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or PLCs. It can also be controlled directly through a potentiometer and switch without programming. The MD25HV includes overcurrent protection, temperature protection, and current limiting features to prevent damage to the motor driver and deliver its full potential under varying conditions. Note that the power input does not have reverse voltage protection and connecting the battery in reverse polarity will immediately damage the motor driver.
Examples of using the MD25HV motor driver:
- Power wheels
- Industrial control systems
- High voltage motor control applications.
